HB CMS Immediate command Use the HB (Halt batch execution) Immediate command to stop the execution of a CMS batch virtual machine at the end of the current job. The format of the HB command is: +----------+------------------------------------------------------------------+ | HB | | +----------+------------------------------------------------------------------+ You can issue an Immediate command only after causing an attention interrupt by pressing the Attention key (or its equivalent). The command is processed as soon as it is entered. It is also executed immediately when stacked in an EXEC procedure. Any program execution in progress is suspended until the Immediate command is processed. Usage Notes: 1. If the batch virtual machine is running disconnected, it must be reconnected. 2. When the HB command is executed, CMS sets a flag such that at the end of the current job, the batch processor generates accounting information for the current job and then logs off the CMS batch virtual machine.
