The TCreate subcommand is intended to be a “quick” means of building a tape containing just a limited number of workstation files. The functionality provided by the Tape (Dis)Assembly functionality provides far greater control of the composition and format of the resulting tape file.
The general format of this command is:
nosutils TCreate <target_tapeFn> <input_Fn1 (input_Fn2 ... input_FnN)>
The names of the files following the TCreate subcommand's output tape specification <target_tapeFn> are ingested and transformed into the target tape file. The additional switches -4 and -D tell TCreate how to interpret the specified input files.
