This DSD message can be considered harmless and “normal”, but it seems a way of stopping it happening is to turn off reports from NPUs.

On the NOS console (DSD) when NAM. REQUEST *K* DISPLAY is shown at top right:

K,NAM.

The left display will show:

ALERT CS
NAM

Enter:

K.AP
K.RE,NPUS,OFF   # NOTE: you do not type in the K. here. Already there.
K.*
K.END.
