CP/67
CP/67 is the predecessor to VM/370 and is configured to operate from 2314 (CKD) DASD Device files.
Because these devices are not supported by VM/ESA, they must be configured as such. Moreover, because they cannot be IPLed (as they are unsupported devices) they may only be attached to the ESA host and THEN provided to (perhaps) a VM/370 Community Edition
guest which DOES support these devices. It's a lot of CCW (Channel Command Word) manipulation, but who cares? It's a hobby implementation!
Hercules Configuration
This file contains the hercules device configuration for these elements.

Directory Entries
The CP Directory file needs to include an entry for each defined Guest, but because CP/67 cannot be IPLed under ESA, it would need to be incorporated into the directory entry for the guest that does support these devices.
Configuration for such a setup is left to an exercise for the reader.
