CMS Commands

FLIST                                                                  CMS EXEC

Use the FLIST command to manipulate CMS files from within a displayed list of
those files.  FLIST only supports 24 line display terminals.  The format of the
FLIST command is:

where:

fn       is the filename of the files for which information is to be collected.
         If an asterisk is coded in this field, all filenames are used.  If you
         code an asterisk preceded by any number of characters, then files that
         begin with the specified characters are listed.

fn       is the filetype of the files for which information is to be collected.
         If an asterisk is coded in this field, all filetypes are used.  If you
         code an asterisk preceded by any number of characters, then files that
         begin with the specified characters are listed.

fm       is the filemode of the files for which information is to be collected.
         If this field is omitted, only the A-disk is searched.  If an asterisk
         is coded, all accessed disks are searched.

Commands:

PF1      Help

PF3      Quit

PF5      Rrefresh

PF7      Page down

PF8      Page up

PF9      Cursor up

PF10     Cursor down

PF11     Edit

PF12     Sort by date

SNAM     Sort by filename

STYPE    Sort by filetype

SMOD     Sort by filemode

SBLK     sort by number of blocks

SREC     sort by number of records

Any CMS or CP command or program may be executed against the current file.  If
you want to execute an EXEC, you must precede its name with EXEC.

The following parameters may be passed to a command as substitution:

/        will substitue the filename, filetype and filemeode.

/fn      will substitue the filename.

/ft      will substitute the filetype.

/fm      will substitute the filemode.
